Our brand new 16m x 12m roof system (52' x 39') is a tower based structure with a pitched roof for optimum strength. Constructed largely from standard Eurotruss ST series truss, this large roof system is integrated into a Layher stage structure, which in turn provides a grid clearance of over 10.5m from the deck level, the deck height generally having a nominal height of 2m above ground level. The stage has a central apex height of 12.8m (~14.8m from ground level). Constructed on top of a levelled Layher Allround deck structure the towers and grid are raised using CM Lodestar 1 tonne motors (32A three phase power required). The structure can support in excess of 12 Tonnes of equipment over the stage when used outdoors, depending on the load configuration (in addition to the wing loading).

The roof is covered in PVC, with a blackout lining, with solid PVC rear and side walls. The standard stage base footprint is a 17m wide x 12m deep platform with handrails fitted to the rear and sides of the platform and with various ramp and step options for access.

PA wings are also available for this structure in widths of either 2m, 3m, 4m or 5m. Each wing can support a point load (such as a hang of line array PA) of up to 2T tonne per side, and can also be used to support an LED video screen.

The structure and all its components are all fully rated, tested and certified, and the construction is signed off by a Eurotruss trained technician prior to handover. Full method statements and risk assessments are adhered to at all times, and guidance on Temporary Demountable Structures, published by the Institute of Structural Engineers (ISE), is followed at all times.

An anemometer (a device used to measure the speed of the wind) is fitted to the structure when used outdoors to continuously monitor wind speed, with procedures in place to deal with inclement weather in accordance with risk assessments, manufacturer data and ISE guidance.
